STORY
In the last decade I've had the opportunity to work with a tremendous amount of recognized artists and brands, creating graphics, campaigns, and goods that turn up all over the world. 
While still attending college, I was hired as a graphic designer at KNOCK inc. and was on the team that designed New Balance’s Manhattan flagship location. Day-to-day duties included environmental design for Target stores, as well as brand identity explorations for emerging companies.
From there I moved to SixSpeed agency where I worked closely as a designer and director on major Red Bull campaigns including Crashed Ice and Red Bull JAWS. As the main agency servicing Red Bull’s Event Productions, day-to day duties included a steady stream of pitching logo ideas for Red Bull events as well as creating all of the signage and ephemera that went along with each event.
After my initial stint with agencies, I was then offered an opportunity to be the creative director for streetwear brand and storefront in Minneapolis, Phenom Global. Here, I released several lines of clothing, while also supervising the on-site printshop. Towards the end of my tenure at Phenom I had the opportunity to help design an entire 1500 square foot store in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This necessitated picking colors, stains, designing shelving configurations, and much more.
In 2014 I moved to LA where I established GORDYLAND, as my brand and moniker, pursuing a freelance career mainly in the music industry. For two years I acted as a day-to-day designer for major label artists including Blackbear, Mike Posner, Mansionz, gnash, and Mod Sun. During this time I also worked with internet publication, POPULAR TV, as a videographer, photographer, and editor of their social content. 
In 2016 I took a position at Crailtap (Girl Skateboards) as a graphic designer and have spent the last two years creating artwork for both Girl and Chocolate’s skateboards as well as their apparel and accessories. In addition to this, I've been the art director of Royal Trucks where I'm in charge of the identity, product development and rollout, all design for soft and hard goods, as well as maintaining and providing content for their website, social media, and e-com store. 
While at Girl, I also began as a resident DJ at on On The Rox above the world famous Roxy Theatre. I have since took on their creative direction and marketing, producing social content on a weekly basis while still securing at least one night during the week to play music and have fun.
